DREAMERS

| We're all but dreamers dreaming dreams, | |
| never knowing we're asleep. | |
| Most completely incomplete, | |
| forever fearing what they'll reap. | |
| Hollowed out over the years, | |
| so many forget to ponder why. | |
| They take for granted all these things, | |
| every moment's wonder passing by. | |
| Unnoticed go the priceless grains, | |
| from swaying grass to falling leaves- | |
| they live, yet take in none of it, | |
| as shifting sand strait through a sieve. | |
| But time's as vast as all can see, | |
| it's room enough for all to grow, | |
| so keep these words within you- | |
| 'You're but dreaming, you should know.' | |
| And with this thought before your eyes, | |
| may your need for grief not hunger. | |
| Just always grin and keep in mind, | |
| what seems hopeless just takes longer. | |
