This is my personal favorite piece. That is why it is not for sale. I will cherish it in my private gallery until I die, and then it will be passed to my son who gave me the inspiration to paint it.

Historical Note: This painting is 17 years old. It was in poor storage for 15 years before being framed. Fortunately it suffered only minimal pigment degradation. This was my very first abstract painting.

This piece was done in college, in my tiny little dorm room at the University of Pittsburgh. It was meant to explore the potential depth possible with only ink washes.

What it actually turned out to be was a very telling self portrait of my personality.

This piece had been in poor storage for 24 years and was only recently framed. Fortunately it didn't suffer too much, and the frame has brought it back to live a full life all the rest of its days.
